A New Record of Termite <i>Coptotermes emersoni</i> Ahmed

The Coptotermes Wasmann (1896), is a highly scattered genus, which represented by nine species. emersoni Ahmad (Isoptera: Rhinotermitidae: Coptotermitinae) species first time reported from Southern Haryana, India, with specimens trapped banyan tree. Morphometric analysis of soldiers like body length, head length without mandibles, pigmentation, antennae segments, tibial spur, tarsal width, and width has been made. These reveals that C. crenulations present on each the right mandible two crenulation left five make it unique among other genus Coptotermes.
